From this series I have Vol I, Part I, Vol II Part IV and Vol II Part V. Edited and revised by Edward Step. They have no publication date but I believe the series in book form was published between 1855 and 1873. I assume that this serialisation in paperback came later, so I have gone with 1890. Published by Frederick Warne & Co, London. There are a total of 82 colour plates across the three volumes I have - 31 in Vol I Part I (should be 32, one is missing); 25 in Vol II Part IV (plate numbers 78-102) and 26 in Vol II Part V (plate numbers 103-128). Vol I Part I also has 4 b/w plates at the start. Brown paperback covers which have been protected by sticky back plastic layer. No spine paper on Vol I Part I, so the front cover is detached from the binding block with the first few pages. The rest of the pages are also very loose/detached from one another. The other two volumes are similarly loose with some detached pages/plates. Elaborate bookplate to the front endpaper. Condition: fair/good.
